Respect is the key learning for our times. Respecting ourselves, respecting each other and respecting the environment. Everything is interlinked and when we disrespect others, we lose respect for ourselves. Respect and accountability should be our action points for the future... what do you think?

I really enjoyed reading the article on 2010 on the homepage of EOL... and it really got me thinking about how ritual impacts on our lives. There are our own sacred rituals that we create or that are part of our family make-up and then there are rituals that whole swathes of communities and countries take part in, like different countries and how they celebrate New Year or Day of the Dead for example. Nicola goes around the globe in this article and it got me thinking about Brazil and how they celebrate - it's very beautiful. I found out about this when I was writing an article for EOL on the Goddess Yemaya...

I relate to coincidences in my experience as a phenomenon of synchronicity. For example: In my 35 year quest to do my 100% to help make the world a better place," (formerly, ". . . to save the world," until I realized it was I who first needed saving), I would not have imagined, when I began, that I would eventually come to discover someone half way around the globe whose profile is such that had it not been for the advent of the World Wide Web, and our personal life convictions, I may not have reached this "one" degree of separation to Shari Arison as I feel I have. Coincidence? I don't think so.

Just as I was about to submit and commit to another ". . . save the world" challenge, I just so happened to check one of my favorite "cosmic conscious" websites where I am lead to for answers to questions I have when going into my daily meditations. At the bottom of a 45,600 word compilation with 242 links, I found an article from the Washington Post about "Israel's Wealthiest woman." After reading the article and watching an interview on YouTube. I thought, who would have believed that a poor, retired, African-American man, would be having precisely the same core values, convictions, and visions of the future as I am having right now, this moment — The Eternal Moment, with a wealthy Jewish, woman?" Everything on my site, "The Apple in the Seed" (www.appleintheseed.net) parallels what her personal quest is all about. Coincidence, this is not. This is a "Divine Meeting" of the heart and mind. 

When I first setup my website back in the early 90's, there were precious few of us who saw the web as the powerful tool that it has become today. Since then the internet has grown exponentially (as have "save the world" websites such as mine), but the noise and extraneous distractions of web gobbledygook has drowned out our voices, rendering us silent in a world of cultural malaise and abject apathy.

This forum seems to be a perfect example of what I speak. With all her wealth, stature, good intentions and tools she has provided us, the level of participation is abysmal. Someone needs to take the reins and guide this forum in the direction of positive action towards getting something of significance accomplished. As I write this to you all, I can't remove myself as being at least one among you who is ready to commit to that responsibility.

How can I help? If I am called. I will serve.
