Meet Charlie Gay
Charlie Gay - who’s been concert promoter and event producer for Pavarotti, Cher, Pink Floyd and other big-name artists - is the founder of a revolutionary humanitarian organization called Humanity Unites Brilliance or HUB.
His own personal journey subsequent to his involvement in the world of glamour led to the realization that huge resources were being wasted in the name of “good causes.”
He also saw that all the so-called problems in the world, i.e. hunger, disease, and poverty, could be addressed by using our current economic, technological and philanthropic infra-structure to redistribute global resources in a way that benefits humanity as a whole.
HUB
His vision became to provide enough food, water, education and micro-credit to create a world of sustainable abundance and empowered living.
Humanity Unites Brilliance is a new paradigm “for-profit organization” that brings together business and philanthropy. By using a powerful business model to drive a humanitarian vision, HUB is able to partner with a wide array of non-profit organizations to create a global impact that is far greater than any individual non-profit organization can achieve. In addition, it creates an exponential growth in sustainable abundance for everyone involved.
At the root of this mission is the understanding that empowerment is the key to evolution. And this means empowerment for both the giver and receiver.
Unlike, the current paradigm of humanitarianism in which non-profit and charitable organizations rely on “one-way” donations and fund-raising events, HUB aims to create a ‘circular’ system in which the giver also receives and so is inspired to give again and again in an ever-increasing cycle of abundance, motivation and brilliance.
The system works on a multi-level membership scheme in which each member pays $99 a month – 40% of this goes to feed 3 people, provide clean water for 10 people, educate 16 people, and contribute to a pooled micro-credit loan; 40% goes back into HUB to create abundance (or income) for HUB members; and 20% goes to the HUB administration to run the business and put on special events. The multi-level bit comes when a member is able to inspire someone else to also join HUB as a member.
By inspiring 3 others and each of those in turn inspiring 3 more and so on, there is an exponential growth in giving and receiving. It’s a win-win situation that creates real change by bringing together the most highly developed and the most under-developed countries in an exponentially expanding circle of prosperity.
Organisations And Luminaries Working With HUB
Some of the non-profit organizations that HUB has partnered with in order to redistribute global wealth are Feed the Children which delivers food to places of need both in Third World countries as well as at home in developed countries; Raincatcher which promotes initiatives to catch rain in places as far as Africa as well as in the US, the I AM Foundation that provides empowerment education for children all around the world; Awakening the Dreamer which promotes awareness of the environmental challenges we currently face, Youth Action International which provides life-skills training for underprivileged and abused children, and the Hope Bank which provides micro-lending for impoverished and abused women in under-developed countries. And that’s to name but a few!
The empowering part for HUB members is not only the soul-satisfaction of directly impacting millions of peoples lives world-wide (as well as impacting their own lives directly by providing themselves with an additional income stream), but also that they’re part of a movement that is coalescing a growing number of global evolutionary thinkers in a bid to transform humanity.
Luminaries such as Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith, Barbara Marx Hubbard, Don Beck, Jack Canfield, Lynn Twist and numerous others are offering their unique talents, skills and services by being a part of the “empowerment curriculum” which each member has access to.
This comes in the form of live events in which these leaders give talks, seminars and presentations, as well as teleconferences and other tools.
