 The Two Golden Keys

We All Have The Power

Within each and every one of us is a power so magnificent that it has the ability to fulfil our deepest desires. Every cell of our being is resonant with this power and every moment of our lives is a doorway to this power. There is no space where this power does not exist and there is no time where this power does not exist. It is ever-present and accessible to us … and yet we spend our lives looking for it, often in vain.

Many of us spend years chasing things that we think will make us feel better about ourselves. We chase money to make us feel worthy, relationships to make us feel loved, status to make us feel recognized, possessions to make us feel secure, and knowledge (even spiritual knowledge) to make us feel in control. And yet we often end up feeling just as unworthy, unloved, unrecognized, insecure and confused as we did before we got these things.

The Illusion Of External Happiness

I certainly spent the early part of my adult life on a quest for accumulation of outer power, although I didn't know I was doing this! I really thought that having the latest gadgets, wearing fashionable clothes, achieving high academic awards and reading intellectual books would make me feel good about myself. What I finally discovered – after an almighty psychological crash – was that all the treasures I had been seeking were in fact to be found deep within myself.

The thing is, all the external power in the world cannot truly fulfil what the soul really yearns for. Whenever we look outside of ourselves for what we think we need, we become victims of circumstances. We feel good when we get what we want and we feel bad when we get what we don’t want. This means we are subject to the ebb and flow of life and to the vicissitudes of our own thoughts and feelings. True happiness, love, peace and wealth can only come from within.

The External Self

True power is the ability to anchor ourselves in that part of us that is unchanging and eternal, that part of us that is not touched by external events nor tainted by turbulent thoughts.

The ability to shift our perspective from small mind to big heart is what fulfils our dreams and creates miracles in our lives. It is a 360-degree turn-around from looking outwards to what we can get from life to looking inwards to what we can give to life.

This turn-around creates a radical awakening in which we transform our lives from the inside out. Instead of accumulating riches, we offer the radiant jewel of our unique gifts, talents and skills to the world. Instead of gaining status by climbing the career or social ladder, we are rooted in the power of our being. Instead of looking for love, we become love.

When I finally “got it”, my life changed forever. Now I am the source of all that I create, I have sovereignty over my thoughts and feelings, and I have a choice in how I respond to life. This has been the most liberating experience in which I am no longer a slave to my small self and its petty concerns for me and mine. Instead I know myself as the essential truth of my unbounded nature.

Two Golden Keys

The turning point in my life was a transmission I received that gave me thetwo Golden Keys that unlock our true power. After this transmission, I applied these two keys rigorously to every aspect of my life until everything changed … and now I share these two Golden Keys through my Radical Awakening teaching.

The two Golden Keys are internal actions we can take in response to what happens that shift us from victim-consciousness to being empowered co-creators.

The first key is Presence, which is the ability to deeply penetrate each moment as it unfolds within our own experience … exactly as it is. It is like a sword of awareness that cuts through all ego-illusions to allow us to see clearly. It is a masculine quality that takes us to direct experience.

The second key is Openness, which is the ability to open wide to receive the unfoldment of each moment with grace and gratitude. It is like an unbounded bowl that holds all of life, however wonderful or terrible. It is a feminine quality that transcends liking and disliking and takes us into unconditional love.

Instead of blaming or complaining when life throws something we don’t like at us, we can choose to bring our presence and our openness to the experience. This takes us deeper into the agony until it melts and we remain basking in our essential nature that is always at one with What Is. This is the shift from suffering to freedom. But we need to do this over and over again … not just when we feel like it nor just in the silence of meditation, but especially when things are tough.

This resoluteness is like exercising the muscle of consciousness that gets easier with practice. And it is what finally brings our inner power into alignment with the Power of Creation so that we become conscious co-creators of our lives.

It means we become enlightened warriors who choose to weed out self-limiting beliefs and to replace these with life-affirming thoughts, feelings, words and actions.

An enlightened warrior has the courage to make the journey from head to heart in every circumstance and has enough passion to overcome all inner and outer obstacles in order to serve the world with their greatness.

I believe that when each of us raises our personal frequency by becoming an enlightened warrior, then the mass frequency of humanity will also raise and we will have played our rightful role in the evolutionary transition to a new way of living and being that may well change everything!
