Gabi Bar-Or lead a regular life, until the doctors found a tumor in his right leg. When he was 26 he lost the ability to walk. It took him 12 years, during which he hardly left his home, to realize he must amputate his leg in order to begin living.

Natalie was born with cerebral palsy, but spent her childhood in regular schools and environment. She developed a sort of denial towards her handicap and spent her energy fighting it. Only when she was 23 she decided to accept her handicap “and turn lemons into lemonade”.

The two of them met, fell in love and eventually got married by chance - thanks to Etgarim foundation’s handcycle program. “I realized one can succeed even with physical limitation. Sometimes, it’s like being reborn”.
