With contagious positive energy successful wellness advisor Mira talks about her life, her accomplishment and her dreams. "If what you do doesn't come from the soul, it's not worth it. You need to have the passion and love for your work otherwise you can not enjoy it," says Mira.
But life for her wasn't always such fun and glow as now.
She married early to the love of her life and they raised 3 children together. He was an army personal serving mostly far away from home and she worked in several administrative positions for years struggling through the months to pay the bills.
By the age of 40 she was drained both mentally and physically, and strived for a change.
Then she chose to earn a degree in communication, hoping to find a job that will fill her with energy. She joined the local paper's journalist team, got involved in the local political party, but according to Mira, it wasn't until she opened her wellness business that she really felt complete.
At 54 years, her husband passed away after fighting cancer for over 10 years leaving Mira alone in debts.
"Until that moment I was only his wife, and the mother of his children. His death left me in a vacuum. My children were already grown-up and had their own families. I looked at my own parents at the age of 80, and I knew I still had quite a bit to live," tells Mira.
"I knew I wanted to make the most of life but didn't know how."
Mira was also having financial difficulties as her husband's long lasting disease took most of their savings and she had no secure income to rely on. She knew it would be very unlikely to find a job that would pay enough to keep her standard of living.
Not knowing what to do or where to turn to Mira decided to take a piece of paper and write down all the things she liked doing.
"I like people and I like to help them, I also like to sit in cafes and chit chat about life. I love my house and I love driving my Isuzu trooper as well. I felt I could not make any compromises or give up any of my lifestyle without feeling hurt. I also wanted something more, something with true meaning," says Mira.
Then she put the little piece of paper away and never dealt with it again until 6 months later when she first met the company called Nikken, and decided to open up her own business there.
Nikken was launched 31 years ago in Japan with a single mission to provide products, business opportunities and support to people to achieve a complete and fulfilled life. Today, Nikken has become a global enterprise with a continuous track record in more than 30 countries with over 30 million satisfied customers.
As Mira clarified her goals and set her priorities straight the higher forces of life took care of the rest and within a considerable short time an opportunity opened for her. She purchased most of Nikken's products and gave them for trial to friends and family and anyone she encountered with serious health issues. Beforelong she started to sell and generate enough money to keep her house and car.
"You must be completely in love with the vision or you can't succeed," says Mira, "Once you are determined nothing can stop you, barriers will fall down and difficulties will turn into exciting challenges."
Mira believes once you know what you want to do, the best thing is to find a person in that field who you can learn from.
"One of the hardest things for me was putting my ego aside and daring to learn from others. Studying is a never ending process, there is always something new to learn, you can never say I've done enough."
Miri started to study, spending days and nights reading books on Nikken's business structure. But the way wasn't always smooth. "To do something includes falls, like a little child who just started to walk I knew that there might be times when I would fall."
Sometimes Mira felt as if family and friends were even waiting for her to fall, "In the last 4 years since I've been in business people still ask me: Are you still dealing with that thing? As if it's a passing phase in my life. For me this business means everything, it gave meaning to my life after I felt I lost everything."
She knows that her way in Nikken is not for everyone, but she also believes that each person has a special gift that should be found. And if one acts in harmony with one's talents - Mira believes success is more than possible. "It's important to know what you love and to do what you love in order to fulfill your purpose and use those special talents that you were gifted with."
As Mira understood that she can be a successful international business woman, while helping people to live a healthier and happier life, she had the suitable doors opened for her.
Today she is truly content with her life: "I never had as much satisfaction and security as I have today. And I mean real security, I know I'm in a good place and going towards to an even better place."
